An Unfortunate Anniversary
A message from our President, Tim Phillips.
Two years ago tomorrow, President Obama signed into law his disastrous government takeover of our health care.
Two years later, and due in part to your grassroots activism, our fellow Americans are more opposed than ever to this big government boondoggle that will drive up health care costs while taking away our health care choices. Well, there’s a big day I’ve got to tell you about.
The U.S. Supreme Court is set to hear arguments next week regarding the constitutionality of several elements of the health care package, and AFP will be there! We’re hosting a Hands Off My Health Care Rally down the street from the Court on March 27th, so we can let them know that we oppose the President’s health care takeover.
We’ve put together a powerful coalition of 20+ organizations (listed here), plus powerhouse speakers like Sen. Rand Paul, Sen. Jim DeMint, Sen. Pat Toomey, Sen. Ron Johnson, Rep. Paul Ryan, Rep. Michele Bachmann, Rep. Alan West, and many more!
We’re not the only ones who will be there, though. The President’s allies and leftist groups like the Center for American Progress will be out in force, and so will the national media. We must not allow them to stifle our opposition. We need every American who believes in health care freedom to join us at the rally on Tuesday!
Sign up now to attend the Hands Off My Health Care Rally!
You can also make an impact by taking action and signing AFP’s Statement to the Supreme Court, which states that we believe that the individual mandate is unconstitutional and that the entire health care law must be struck down. We will be delivering this statement to the Supreme Court from the American people, so please sign today to make your voice heard.

Americans for Prosperity and our 1.9 million activists have been fighting Obama’s health care takeover since 2009. This may be our best chance this year to finish what we’ve started. Let’s leave it all out on the field, and make sure that next year, we’re celebrating the anniversary of the Supreme Court striking down this affront to our health care freedoms!
