Late last week, a group of 100 U.S. Representatives sent a letter to the so-called Super Committee urging the handpicked group of twelve legislators to consider all options for mandatory and discretionary spending and revenues in order to reach the committees goal of $1.2 trillion in deficit reduction over the next ten years. Yet the latest data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics shows the President has fallen far short of his goal: the unemployment rate is 9.1 percent. The broader rate of unemployment, including discouraged and part time workers, is at 16.5 percent.
With unemployment remaining above 9%, Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has an unorthodox jobs program - shutting down private business and jeopardizing good-paying jobs in the process.
Do you think its right that Boeing has to close down that plant in South Carolina because its non union? asked host Maria Bartiromo. Pelosis reply: Yes.

Americans for Prosperity released a statement today denouncing President Obama for yet again seeking to impose his fiscally-unsound agenda by sidestepping Congress. The Presidents American Jobs Act, which amounts to yet another mortgage bailout, is being pushed with phony urgency under the slogan we cant wait.
Phil Kerpen, Vice President of Policy at Americans for Prosperity said, Just last month, President Obama said he wished he could, Work my way around Congress. Clearly he wasnt kidding. The President seems to think of himself as a monarch rather than an executive responsible to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States Despite years studying and teaching the Constitution, Obama has failed to the grasp the concept of checks and balances.
