Dear Senator,

On behalf of more than two million Americans for Prosperity activists in all 50 states, I urge you to support two budgets when they come to a vote this week: the House-passed budget resolution (H.Con.Res. 112) and Senator Toomey’s “Restoring Balance” budget resolution (S.Con.Res. 37). Both are credible proposals to cut government spending, usher in pro-growth tax reform, and put two of the nation’s big-spending entitlement programs back on a sustainable fiscal path.

I urge you to vote YES on both H.Con.Res. 112 and S.Con.Res. 37. Americans for Prosperity will rate these votes in our congressional ratings.

Today AFP joined a coalition of 11 free-market organizations calling on Congress to cut back wasteful farm subsidies.

Expensive public employees should not have a monopoly on doing support jobs for agencies that the private sector could do more efficiently and at lower costs to taxpayers.

That's the message AFP and 23 coalition letter co-signers sent to the House of Representatives today, as the markup of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) quickly approaches.
