Exempt Me

Exempt Me

August 16, 2013

As implementation of the President’s health care law continues to run into problem after problem, it’s clear that this law is simply unworkable. However, instead of repealing or delaying the law entirely, the President is issuing special exemptions and favors for the politically connected and powerful.

The list of groups that want out from under the onerous burdens of the law continues to grow by the day:

  • Congress and their staff
  • Labor Unions (Jimmy Hoffa Jr. says the law will destroy the 40-hour work week)
  • Employers (employer mandate delayed)
  • Restaurants in Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s district (38 San Francisco eateries get waivers)

If you’re well-connected and know how to work the system you can get a waiver or delay from the damage this law, which is about to inflict on our economy and our health care.

But what about us?  As average citizens we’re about to feel the full brunt of the law.  Sign the petition on the right to urge Congress and the President to: Exempt Me!
