Last week we were on the road again in St. Louis, Nashville, Fayetteville, Little Rock, and Baton Rouge to fight back against the job-killing, tax-hiking Cap and Trade scheme being debated in Congress right now. We spoke to some inspirational activists who came from near and far to make their voice heard by their representatives and senators, vote NO on this massive energy tax increase.

WASHINGTON, DC — The grassroots free-market group Americans for Prosperity in a statement today urged the Senate to confirm Jim Nussle as director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). AFP Executive Vice President Michelle Korsmo issued the following statement:

"We applaud the efforts of the Argus Leader to bring the issue of government transparency. Full disclosure of spending in education is a great idea and should be embraced by all levels of government, not just schools. The more transparent our government is, the more the voters will be able to make well informed decisions and hold elected officials accountable."
