Dave Schwartz bio
AFP South Carolina State Director Dave Schwartz has spent his career advocating for conservative policies and giving a voice to hard-working taxpayers. As AFP’s Virginia state director, Dave spearheaded the fight against ObamaCare and oversaw the highly successful pilot project of AFP’s new field program – a program that registered thousands of new voters and is now being replicated nationwide. Dave’s leadership made AFP the go-to organization for limited government, free market policy in Virginia. He has had media appearances on Fox, NBC, CBS, and in the New York Times, Politico, USA Today, the Wall Street Journal, and the Richmond Times Dispatch.
Dave looks forward to reconnecting with his family in South Carolina and giving Palmetto taxpayers the strongest conservative organization in the state. His focus is to make South Carolina a better place to live, work and raise a family. Prior to his service at AFP, Dave was an aide to Gov. Bob Ehrlich (R-MD) and Rep. Andy Harris (R-MD). He and his wife Casey have a 19 month-old daughter named Darby.
