PA Needs to Reject Obamacare Health Exchanges

June 05, 2012

The looming question for many states, when it comes to Obamacare, is do we create a state run health exchange or no? Americans for Prosperity-Pennsylvania is asking our Governor and the General Assembly to not create an exchange.

Knowing the fiscal situation our state is in how could we afford the $10-$100 million per year to run the exchange? We cannot afford this burden.

Michael Cannon of the Cato Institute eloquently explains why states like Pennsylvania do have the option under Obamacare to NOT create an exchange.

To help stop the creation of the health exchange in Pennsylvania please click here to print out a copy of our Health Care Freedom Pledge. Ask your state representative and senator to sign this pledge stating they will not create an exchange or vote for any bill to take such action.
