The rally will feature both national and local speakers and activists will be bused to the event from across the state.
“Our Hands Off My Healthcare rally is an opportunity to make clear that Pennsylvanians remain committed to repealing Obama’s health care takeover,” explained Jennifer Stefano, State Director of AFP-PA. “We will send a message to Governor Corbett and our state legislature that Pennsylvanians do not want the state to implement the health care law through a health insurance exchange.”

Americans for Prosperity has continued to push for permanent repeal of the President’s health care law, fighting for repeal in Washington and encouraging state legislatures not to implement the health insurance exchanges. According to AFP’s research, the health insurance exchange will add at least $50 million in new taxes and will increase federal bureaucratic control of health care policy.
“We look forward to hearing from national grassroots leaders and our Pennsylvania legislators who are tirelessly leading the fight for healthcare freedom,” Stefano continued. “After the rally, we will recruit Pennsylvanians to join the fight for health care freedom and keep the pressure on Governor Corbett to block the health insurance exchange.”
