Jennifer Stefano is the Pennsylvania State Director of Americans for Prosperity (AFP) and Americans for Prosperity Foundation (AFPF).  The Emmy-nominated reporter turned stay-at-home mother made her first foray into politics when, in 2009, she stumbled on a Tea Party at her local park.  Her beginning and rise as a grassroots organizer in that movement was the subject of Pulitzer Prize winning New York Times reporter Kate Zernike’s book “Boiling Mad: Inside Tea Party America”.

By 2010, Jennifer began volunteering with Americans for Prosperity and two years later was hired as their Pennsylvania State Director.  Her work with AFP has been profiled in Forbes Magazine, the Washington Post, the New York Times, Al-Jazeera television and NHK Japan television.

Jennifer is a regular guest on Fox News, Fox Business and CNBC representing Americans For Prosperity.  She has also appeared on ABC World News and Good Morning America.  Her quotes and articles have appeared in numerous local and national publications including The Philadelphia Inquirer, Investors Business Daily and The International Herald Tribune.

Fox News anchor and Fox Business Executive Vice President Neil Cavuto said of Jennifer, “She is one of my favorite guests on this show, it looks like butter could melt in her mouth, she looks like one of the most gentile women you would ever want to know, but you do not want to mess with Jennifer Stefano.”

Jennifer holds a business degree from Villanova University.  In 2004, she earned an Emmy nomination for outstanding reporting.  She and her family currently reside in Philadelphia.
