Monday, March 9, Senator Tom Coburn was the keynote speaker for a breakfast fundraiser in Tulsa. There were about 130 attendees by invitation only from hosts Dan Keating and Bob Sullivan. Dr. Coburn did a fantastic job! His insight and common sense approach to solving our current fiscal problems were refreshing, and charged everyone's batteries for the fight ahead!

Legislation stripping away privacy rights

One of the most remarkable stories of the 2008 election was the success Democrats had establishing themselves as advocates of fiscal responsibility, lower spending and limited government. How well are they delivering on that message?

OKLAHOMA CITY – Property Tax Cap Rally: Americans for Prosperity held a taxpayer rally at the Oklahoma State Capitol on March 18 to urge legislators to support Senate Joint Resolution 5, a bill which would lower the cap on property taxes from 5% to 3%.

Rep Mike Brown, the Democrat Floor Leader, was upset at the wording of AFP's press release congratulating the House of Representatives in their passage of the SJR 8 opposing the union's card check bill.
