Thanks to the Edmond Republican Women!
A great crowd interested in the major issues facing our great country showed up at Lottinvilles Thursday night to get updated on the insane federal spending taking place in Washington.
The Edmond Republican Women hosted AFP-Oklahoma at its monthly meeting. After its general business was taken care of, State Director Stuart Jolly took to the floor to talk about crazy federal spending, governmental overreach and matters facing the state of Oklahoma.
In his presentation, which you can view here, Jolly talked about the $14 trillion debt this country has amassed and how the annual deficit this country faces is only getting bigger and bigger. He also updated the group on issues in Oklahoma, especially its redundant and overgrown state government apparatus. He also updated the group on the Keystone XL pipeline issue, which is an expansion of a current pipeline that will eventually stretch from Alberta, Canada, to the Houston/Southeast Texas area. He also talked up the 2011 Defending The American Dream Summit in Washington, DC, Nov. 4th-5th. You can find registration information here and you can book a room for the weekend here.
We’d like to thank the ERW for having us at their meeting. We appreciate the hospitality and hope you enjoyed the presentation. If you live in the Edmond area and are interested in their group, go to their site to find out more about them.
