Nationally, Oklahoma is known as red through and through.
On the state level, however, there are still some areas where conservative ideas aren't the norm. For many years, Hugo was one of those places.
But the tide is starting to turn.
In front of a crowd of 50 motivated individuals, the Choctaw Co. GOP hosted its monthly meeting on Thursday, Oct. 27th and AFP-Oklahoma was the centerpiece of the evening. After a wonderful pot luck dinner, the group began their meeting. Soon after that, State Director Stuart Jolly spoke to the crowd about AFP's core messages and gave them an update on what is happening in Washington, DC, and in up and down Lincoln Blvd. as well.

The work week is nearly over. But the work of AFP-Oklahoma is never done!
Unfortunately, if you come out to the Kiamichi Technology Center Thursday at 7 p.m. for the Choctaw Co. GOP meeting, you'll be treated to some information that will scare you more than any Halloween fright. State Director Stuart Jolly will be on hand to share with you the latest numbers and information from Washington, DC, which means seeing a lot of zeroes on a screen as he tells you all about our nation's staggering debt.
He'll also update the group on issues on the state level and some new information on the Keystone XL pipeline project, which will bring more jobs and prosperity to the state. He'll also give you all the latest on the upcoming Defending The American Dream Summit, which is coming up fast - Nov. 4-5 in Washington, DC!
