AFP-Oklahoma joined the Tea Party Express Tour at Oklahoma's State Capitol on November 4th, for a "Countdown to Judgment Day" rally. The tour was strategically planned to take place one year prior to the 2010 elections in order to highlight the way Congress has overstepped its bounds in the lives of Americans, and to remind them that we will remember when we go to the polls in 2010!

On December 8th there will be a decisive vote on the Bond Issue for Broken Arrow Public Schools. We encourage you to get the word out and vote NO on this ballot.

Why do we ask this? It is really very simple and straightforward: There are “needs” and there are “wants”…and there are too many “wants” in this bond.This is a $295 million tax increase, which is believed to be one of the largest school bond requests in state history.

Stuart Jolly was a featured speaker at this months OKC 9/12 Project meeting. Stuart hosted a Grassroots Training School where he shared helpful information for activists on how to effectively influence the political process. He gave insider tips about contacting congressman, alerting group members of vital action items, and organizing arguments for, or against legislation.

Wednesday, November 4th, at 6PM the Tea Party Express will be making a tour stop in Oklahoma City! The Tea Party Express is traveling across the nation as they celebrate the one year countdown to the election on November 2nd, 2010!
