Statewide “Has Brown Worked For You?” Operation Launches
Events to be held on August 2nd to Coincide with Radio Ads and Ground Campaign

COLUMBUS, OH – Americans for Prosperity-Ohio will launch their statewide “Has Brown Worked For You?” operation on Thursday, August 2, 2012. The launch will feature three events in Cincinnati, Columbus and Cambridge as well as a multi-thousand dollar radio ad buy, phone calls, electronic billboard messaging and additional ground activities.

“Senator Sherrod Brown’s voting record has failed to reflect the values of the people in Ohio he was elected to represent,” said Seth Morgan, AFP-OH’s Policy Director.  “Our ‘Has Brown Worked For You?’ operation will allow the citizens of Ohio to see clearly how Senator Brown has facilitated increases in the national debt, hurt Ohio families through nationalized health care and rising energy prices, and destroyed Ohio jobs with his persistent support for so-called government solutions.”

Americans for Prosperity-Ohio will hold rallies at the following times and locations to launch the “Has Brown Worked for You?” Operation:

Present at the events will be 4 AFP-OH vans wrapped in “Has Brown Worked For You?” infographics.

The “Has Brown Worked For You?” operation will work to spread the word about Senator Sherrod Brown’s abysmal anti-jobs voting record, which includes votes for the $1.76 trillion health care takeover, $700 billion bailout and $787 billion stimulus as well as votes against reining in the EPA’s control of greenhouse gases and against the Keystone Pipeline.
