“Has Brown Worked For You?”

August 02, 2012

COLUMBUS, OH – Americans for Prosperity-Ohio is launching today its statewide operation titled, “Has Brown Worked For You?” The launch will kick-off with events in Cincinnati, Columbus and Cambridge.  The goal of the operation is to educate Ohioans on Senator Sherrod Brown’s voting record.

Senator Sherrod Brown’s voting record shows a pattern of disregard for Ohio values,” said Seth Morgan, Policy Director of AFP-OH.  “He has confirmed time and again that he is more interested in keeping his political and special interest friends in Washington, DC happy than he is in working for the Ohio families he represents.  Senator Brown’s record on the national health care takeover, increasing spending and the national debt, as well as energy policies all demonstrate that he has not worked for Ohio’s families and business.”

In addition to the three events today, AFP-OH is launching a website, HasBrownWorkedforYou.com, as well as radio ads, phone calls, digital billboards and vans wrapped with the “Has Brown Worked For You?” message, all designed to shed light on Senator Sherrod Brown’s anti-jobs voting record.

Senator Sherrod Brown has an extensive history of working against the free market and in favor of expansive government, and his voting record has gone unchallenged for too long,” continued Morgan.  “Today, as AFP-OH kicks off our ‘Has Brown Worked For You?’ operation, we hope that citizens across the state will take a closer look at Senator Brown’s voting record and decide for themselves if Senator Brown is working for them.”
