Americans for Prosperity Radio Ad: Unions Say Obamacare Bad for Workers

August 23, 2013

Columbus, OH – Americans for Prosperity will begin airing a new radio ad today in major markets¬†around Ohio and other states across the nation in which the narrator¬†shares a special message from Teamsters President Jimmy Hoffa. In the ad, listeners are reminded of Hoffa’s statement that the Obamacare law “will shatter not only our hard-earned health benefits, but destroy the foundation of the 40 hour work week that is the backbone of the American middle class.” The ad directs listeners to the website ObamacareRiskFactors.com to learn more.

“Workers deserve the freedom to find good work and keep their hard-earned paycheck,” explained Eli Miller, state director of Americans for Prosperity. “The new health care law directly undermines worker freedom and cuts into their paycheck. We are thankful that Jimmy Hoffa and other union leaders are standing up to the Obama administration.”
