Americans for Prosperity-Ohio to Host Spending Town Hall in Dayton

August 13, 2013

COLUMBUS – Americans for Prosperity – Ohio will host a town hall on state spending tomorrow in Dayton.  The town hall will take place at the Holiday Inn Dayton Airport at 7PM and will feature remarks from State Senator Bill Beagle.

“We are proud to provide this opportunity for Ohioans who have questions about state spending to connect directly with their elected official,” said Eli Miller, State Director of Americans for Prosperity – Ohio. “With the legislature about to return to session next month, this is an ideal time to raise questions and discuss how our tax dollars are being spent.”

Senator Beagle is currently serving his first term in the Ohio Senate, representing all of Miami and Preble Counties as well as portions of Darke and Montgomery counties.  He is the Chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on Workforce & Economic Development and a small business owner.

“We encourage everyone to attend what promises to be an engaging and educational town hall discussion on the spending issues that will impact Ohio families, businesses, and individuals,” continued Miller.

The town hall is free and open to the public.
