By now you are probably aware of the war on coal that President Obama’s EPA is waging to carry out his 2008 campaign pledge that, “If somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can – it’s just it will bankrupt them because they’re going to be charged a huge sum.”
While waging this war, the Obama Administration seems willing to give up on the 4.5 million homes that rely on coal for heat and light as well as the nearly 28,000 Ohioans who work in the coal industry.
That is why I wrote an op-ed that was published in the Columbus Dispatch recently to shed light on all we have to lose under the Obama Administration’s proposed new standards.
