Federal Court in Florida Rules ObamaCare Unconstitutional
[img_assist|nid=22007|title=|desc=|link=none|align=right|width=300|height=257]Yesterday Florida U.S. District Judge Roger Vinson ruled ObamaCare unconstitutional! Twenty-six states had joined in this lawsuit, including Ohio. The Court ruled that Congress does not have the authority to penalize people for not buying health insurance.
We won this fight in the Florida court, but the legal battle continues. The Justice Department has already announced that it will appeal the decision. Four federal courts have ruled on the constitutionality of ObamaCare. Two federal courts have ruled it unconstitutional, while two others have ruled that it is not unconstitutional. It seems inevitable that the issue will have to be decided by the U.S. Supreme Court. Click here to read the Columbus Dispatch’s article on yesterday’s decision.
We have to continue our efforts against ObamaCare here in Ohio and at the national level. The U.S. House has already voted to repeal ObamaCare. Click here to send a message to Ohio’s U.S. Senators asking them to repeal ObamaCare.
