Katie Eagan, AFP-Ohio State Director

Katie is a lifelong Ohioan, born and raised in Cincinnati.  She has called Columbus home for the past eleven years.  Katie received her undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University and her MPA from OSU’s John Glenn School of Public Affairs.                

She has been active in Ohio’s political scene since 2004 and has managed a number of State House and local political races.  Having served as a Legislative Aide in the Ohio House of Representatives, Katie was asked to put her public policy skills to work as a Policy Advisor to current Speaker of the Ohio House, William G. Batchelder.  There she advised House members on tax, education, and transportation policy.  During the 2010 election cycle, Katie served as Assistant Finance Director for the successful and storied Ohio House Republican Organizational Committee, where she contributed to record-setting achievements in fundraising and candidate success.   After a brief turn working on Ohio Governor John Kasich’s inaugural committee, Katie was named Deputy Director for Legislative Affairs at the Ohio Industrial Commission. 

In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering, spending time with family and friends, traveling, and participating in the Columbus’ vibrant cultural offerings.
