1. Keep the repeal of the estate tax in the budget;
2. Add back the teacher performance pay provisions passed in the House version of the budget;
3. Add back the $5 million threshold for Prevailing Wage, as originally introduced in House Bill 153;
4. Add back, the 2% shift in retirement benefit contribution from the employer to the employee, as originally introduced in House Bill 153; and
5. Add back, the Governors version of simplified construction reform.

-Commends House and Senate for estate tax repeal and not raising taxes-
COLUMBUS, OH - Americans for Prosperity-Ohio commends Ohio's Senate and House for passing versions of the budget (House Bill 153) that balance Ohio's budget without raising taxes and that end Ohio's estate tax. AFP-Ohio also commends the Senate for sharing the spending cut sacrifice by adding a provision that lowers legislative pay.

Americans for Prosperity-Ohio commends Ohio's Senate for passing a budget yesterday evening that contains a repeal of Ohios death tax.
After the House of Representatives amended the budget (House Bill 153) to include a repeal of the death tax, many of you took action to ask the Senate to retain the death tax repeal in the budget. Thank you! Your efforts made a difference, and now the repeal has passed Ohios House and the Senate as part of the budget.
