Americans for Prosperity Ohio Welcomes Doug Matheney as Field Coordinator

COLUMBUS – Americans for Prosperity Ohio today is announcing the recent addition of Doug Matheney to their team.  Matheney recently joined AFP-Ohio as a field coordinator.

“We are excited to have Doug join the AFP-Ohio team,” said Eli Miller, Americans for Prosperity Ohio State Director. “He is widely known and well respected throughout Ohio’s 6th Congressional district.  As we continue to expand our efforts to advance and promote economic freedom in this part of the state, I am confident Doug will play an integral part in our success.”

Doug will be covering the state’s 6th Congressional district which includes all of Belmont County, Columbiana County, Carroll County, Gallia County, Guernsey County, Harrison County, Jackson County, Jefferson County, Lawrence County, Meigs County, Monroe County, Noble County, and Washington County as well as portions of Athens County, Mahoning County, Muskingum County, Scioto County, and Tuscarawas County.

“I am proud to join AFP-Ohio in their efforts,” said Doug Matheney, Southeast Ohio Field Coordinator.  “I look forward to traveling this part of the state that I know so well and working with our activists to increase economic freedom in Ohio.”

Most recently Doug served as Director of Outreach for the Ohio Coal Association.  Doug is an avid outdoorsman.  He was, is and will always be an Ohio State football fan and takes an added delight when they defeat Notre Dame (his oldest son-in-laws alma mater). Doug is married, has five grown children and is a resident of Morgan County, Ohio.
