Americans for Prosperity-Ohio State Director, Eli Miller, is reacting to the latest polling data revealing President Obama’s approval rating in Ohio has dropped to an all-time low.
“This is a clear indication that Ohioans are fed up with President Obama’s over-reaching big government agenda. People want less, not more, of Obama style polices where federal bureaucrats have more control over our lives then we do,” stated Eli Miller, State Director of Americans for Prosperity-Ohio. “Instead of recognizing this and reacting to it, President Obama has continued to pursue his policies that grow government at the expense of working families instead of growing the private sector. Given all this, it is not surprising that President Obama’s approval numbers are so low in the state.”
The numbers released from a recent Quinnipiac University poll reveal that 40 percent of Ohio voters currently approve of the job Obama is doing as president, while 57 percent disapprove. In addition, according to the Quinnipiac poll the President’s approval has fallen dramatically among Independents to just 34 percent, while 64 percent disapprove.
