Columbus, OH – Americans for Prosperity-Ohio is announcing today a new radio ad aimed at highlighting the negative consequences of President Obama’s healthcare law. The ad, which will run in Ohio and other key states around the country beginning today, is part of a larger educational effort intended to reach those who stand to suffer the most under ObamaCare, and educate them on how the law could negatively impact their healthcare.

“There is still a cloud of confusion surrounding ObamaCare due to all the disappointments and delays.  But what we do know is this – ObamaCare will increase individual health care premiums in Ohio by an average of 41% and will lead to doctor shortages, increase bureaucracy, and invite more government intrusion into personal matters that should remain between Ohioans and their doctors,” said AFP-OH State Director Eli Miller.

The new radio ad titled “Questions” will feature Julie, a mother of two, who has doubts about how the President’s healthcare law will impact her family.

“As questions persist about the implementation of ObamaCare, we remain committed to keeping this healthcare take-over and its disastrous consequences from reaching the people of Ohio,” continued Miller.  “That is why we adamantly oppose ObamaCare’s Medicaid expansion in the state as proposed by Representative Barbara Sears.”

The radio ad will direct listeners to visit, where an online calculator will assess each individual’s risk of suffering painful effects of the new law, and enable them to share their own risk factors.

AFP state chapters will engage activists around the country to further educate and provide information on the negative consequences of ObamaCare.
