Sen. Hagan Decides to Get Her Health Insurance through NC State Exchange In 2014...
Sen. Kay Hagan is one of several Senators that are declining government contributions toward their own health insurance under ObamaCare next year opting instead to enroll in their home state exchange.
Doing so allows Sen. Hagan to claim she is in the same situation as her constituents when it comes to signing up for individual health plans.
It’s nothing more than political maneuvering of course.
After all, just how much does sacrificing federal subsidies for health insurance really affect a Senator ranked number 45 in the top 50 richest members of Congress with a net worth of $8.06 million?
