ObamaCare’s ‘Simpler’ Application Form Simply Isn’t

Health Reform: How did ObamaCare bureaucrats “simplify” the application? They took a 21-page form and split it into three, added three appendices and deleted pages families need if they have more than one child.
At his press conference last week, President Obama boasted about how, after getting blowback from the daunting draft ObamaCare application form, administration officials “immediately sat around the table and said … let’s streamline this thing.”
But the allegedly new and improved form is simpler only if you’re a bureaucrat counting application form pages. Anyone who actually has to fill one out will find it more complicated than the balky original.
To make the forms shorter, for example, ObamaCare bureaucrats simply took the one long form most of which most people would have skipped anyway and split it into three separate shorter ones. Read more…
