Tell Washington to Cut Spending Now!

Tell Washington to Cut Spending Now!
Americans have tightened their belts, so should Washington!

For decades, Washington has continued to borrow and spend at a pace that is not sustainable. Washington is borrowing nearly 40 cents of every dollar we spend and the US debt is now the same size as our entire economy.

You and I understand that our families could not survive borrowing at the same rate, but Washington continues to use the same budgeting gimmicks and accounting tricks to hide our financial crisis.
That’s why Americans for Prosperity is pleased to announce our Cut Spending Now! Tour, which will be rolling through North Carolina this weekend. Click here to register for this free event!

Here are the event details:

AFP applauds NC Senate Leader Berger for Stopping Corrupt Perdue Deal

AFP applauds NC Senate Leader Berger for Stopping Corrupt Perdue Deal

AFP North Carolina State Director Dallas Woodhouse issued the following statement:

“Americans for Prosperity applauds State Senator Phil Berger for stopping the corrupt taxpayer fleecing once known as “Project Soccer.” This deal was corrupt on its face. The project would have enriched Governor Perdue’s supporters while leaving taxpayers with the bill. The fact that Governor Perdue is so reckless with taxpayer money and so little concerned with ethics should concern all North Carolina citizens.

Tea Party Express Stops in Concord Thursday, September 8th

September 07, 2011 J

Dear Supporter,
Please join the Tea Party Express and Americans for Prosperity on Thursday, September 8th at 5:30 p.m. as the Tea Party Express national bus tour stops in Concord, North Carolina.

The Tea Party Express kicked off their 5th national bus tour on August 27th in Napa, CA and will crisscross the country holding rallies in 31 cities. America is at a critical point in history. U.S. debt stands at $14.6 Trillion and rising and the average American’s share is $47,134. The debt ceiling was raised without significant cuts, the stock markets are volatile, and increasing regulations continue to stifle job growth.

Fiscal responsibility, limited government, and free market principles are the best way to get America back on the path to prosperity.
