New Ad from AFP: Kay Hagan Having Trouble Telling Time?
|Arlington, VA – Today Americans for Prosperity, the nation’s largest advocate for health care freedom, released a new ad in response to Senator Kay Hagan’s recent comments on MSNBC’s All In with Chris Hayes.
In an interview, Senator Hagan said, “The Affordable Care Act is something whose time has come.” AFP’s new ad takes the Senator to task for continuing to support Obamacare, even as it is wrecking havoc with the health care choices of hundreds of thousands of North Carolinians.
AFP President Tim Phillips said, “It is disappointing to see Senator Hagan go on a far-left talk show to defend her decisive vote for a law that is causing cancelled insurance plans, lost access to doctors, and higher costs. Rather than continuing to play politics, Hagan should get real with North Carolina and admit that Obamacare is not the answer.”
The new ad cites news coverage showing that Obamacare has led to more than 473,000 North Carolinians losing health plans they were promised they could keep, along with facing rate shock and restricted choice of doctors and hospitals.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:
Kim Strassel of the Wall Street Journal wrote on Thursday about the ‘many faces of Kay Hagan,’ describing the Senator’s ever-shifting persona as she struggles to respond to the Obamacare debacle in her state. Strassel wrote, “The scientific formula goes like this: Another day + Another ObamaCare disaster = A New Kay Hagan.” Read the full article here.
