Disturbing Attacks on AFP Continue

June 21, 2012

AFP President Tim Phillips Responds to Obama’s Attempts to Deflect & Distract

“On Tuesday, President Obama’s campaign used a fundraising plea to launch yet another disturbing attack on AFP. Like so many times before, this is a desperate attempt to deflect and distract from the painful result of Obama’s terrible big-government policies that have saddled this country with unprecedented debt and slowed the economy.

“It is further disturbing that the Obama campaign is so opposed to the Supreme Court decision to protect free speech and respect the privacy of individuals who wish to support causes they believe in. Obama’s campaign has been relentless in vilifying and maligning AFP supporters who willingly identified themselves. This behavior makes it abundantly clear that the Obama campaign demands “transparency” in the hope of attacking and smearing any who oppose their political agenda.

“It is time for President Obama to stop the personal attacks on those fighting for economic freedom and prosperity, and cease shameful fundraising pleas based on the cynical desire to chill free speech, and turn away from disastrous economic policies that have harmed our economy.”
