Another terrible jobs report shows the Obama Economy is not working
A statement from AFP president Tim Phillips:
“Today’s dismal jobs numbers show unemployment remaining at 8.2% – that makes 41 straight months of unemployment over 8%. President Obama promised unemployment would be down to about 5% by now if his $814 billion ‘stimulus” boondoggle was passed. Well, it was passed by the Democrats in Congress. The money was spent – almost all of it was wasted. It’s been a complete failure. Our nation can do better.
“President Obama’s big government agenda continues to impede any economic recovery. His health care law is already forcing burdensome new regulations and taxes that punish struggling businesses and harm the quality of our health care. His ‘global warming’ ideology is killing jobs and sending the EPA into business after business to impose excessive regulation and red tape. His spending and expansion of government drives deficits and debt higher every month, making it more difficult for the private sector to get our economy moving again.
“We wish President Obama would turn away from his big-government agenda and embraces the policies that can bring economic freedom & prosperity.”
