AFP to Obama: Stop Blocking Keystone Pipeline Jobs!
The President is Out of Excuses to Not Approve Keystone Pipeline
Arlington, VA—Today Americans for Prosperity (AFP), the nation’s foremost advocate for economic freedom, applauded Governor Heineman of Nebraska and asked President Obama to quickly approve the Keystone Pipeline Project.
“With over 20 million Americans looking for work and struggling to pay for their basic needs, the President should act swiftly to help create new jobs by approving the Keystone Pipeline.” said Tim Phillips, President of AFP. “The final obstacle to the Keystone Pipeline project has been removed with the approval of Nebraska Governor Heineman, and an environmentally friendly route has been determined.
“Time and again the President has expressed a commitment to creating jobs. Now we’ll see if his global warming ideology, pushed so aggressively in yesterday’s inaugural speech, trumps the needs of the American worker.”
