AFP Responds: "We Don't Have to Live Like This"
Today Americans for Prosperity President Tim Phillips issued the following statement:
“Tonight Governor Romney put it best when he said, ‘We don’t have to live like this,’ as he took apart President Obama’s utterly failing economic policies.
“The President’s policies have led to record budget deficits that keep going up, family incomes that keep going down, gas prices that have doubled, 23 million Americans looking for work, and health care costs that are already increasing as Americans see ObamaCare looming on the horizon.
“Tonight Obama offered a great deal of rhetoric, but doubled down on the same failing agenda that has wreaked havoc on American families. Romney made that point and put a bookend on the evening while saying, ‘Trickle down government does not work and never has.’”
