AFP Responds to Disturbing Attack from Senator McEachin

January 31, 2013

AFP President Tim Phillips said:

“It is deeply disturbing for Senator McEachin to attack job-creating Americans like Charles Koch and David Koch and their company Koch Industries, especially when they are employing nearly more than 1,500 people right now, here in the Senator’s own home state. It is also offensive that the Senator has taken to Facebook saying that he wants ‘the Koch brothers to get out of Virginia.’

“In fact, the Kochs and their company provide more opportunity, growth, and prosperity for the Commonwealth in a month than the Senator’s failed big government policies ever could in a lifetime.

“Senator, please stop trying to restrict our citizens’ constitutional right to free speech for partisan political gain and stop discouraging job growth in Virginia.”
