While the elections are over, there is still much work to be done across America and in Albany. With all of the special interest and public sector union rallies, it is important that regular citizens learn how to get their voices heard. We must continue to keep the pressure on our elected officials and ensure they promote policies that defend freedom and economic liberty.
The workshop will teach you how to track legislation, communicate with and lobby your legislator effectively, prepare to testify before a committee hearing, file a Freedom of Information Law request and much more. We will also cover the New York State fiscal crisis in depth and bills presently introduced in this legislative session.
Registration will begin at 8:30 am, with the training to begin promptly at 9:00 am and ending at 1:00 pm.
The fee for the event is only $25 per person and lunch will be provided. Seating is limited! Please register by Saturday, April 9th.
If you are traveling and wish to stay overnight, room rates are $79 + taxes and fees per room available at the hotel. You will have to contact the hotel directly at (518) 785-5891.
Please tell them that you’re with Americans for Prosperity to receive this special discount.
It is time the taxpayers voice is heard! Learn how to be a citizen lobbyist and join us for this important training.
