Learn How New Yorks Property Tax Cap Impacts You
In 2012, New Yorks new Property Tax Cap has gone into effect, effectively capping the growth in local property taxes to a minimum of two percent or the rate of inflation, whichever is less. Any tax increase above the cap will need a supermajority approval by more than 60 percent of the voters in a school district or two-thirds of the governing body in a county, city, town, village or special district.

National School Choice Week Off to a Great Start
Families from across the WNY region, gathered today to kick off National School Choice Week with a Family Winter Carnival.Children of all ages enjoyed horse and cart rides, carnival games and arts and crafts.
