Keep Education Free in New Mexico

In New Mexico, we desperately need to improve the quality of our workforce in order to attract more business and higher paying jobs to the state. Yet we find that Common Core education standards only provide for a 10th grade education in Math by graduation day, while the English Language Arts standards only provide for reaching a 7th grade reading level. The Common Core Curriculum fails our children and doesn't allow New Mexicans to determine what's best for our children -- the students who will one day build our future economy. Please sign the petition to demand that the legislature and the Office of the Governor work together to remove Common Core Standards from the approved educational program for the state of New Mexico at the beginning of the 2014-15 school year!
