Fill’er Up! AFP-New Jersey to Expose Obama’s Failing Energy Agenda by Bringing Back $1.84 Gas!

Obama’s Failing Agenda Gas Rollback Event to Be Held in Jersey City on October 25 Starting at 7AM

BOGOTA, NJ – Americans for Prosperity, the nation’s leading advocate for economic freedom, will be in Jersey City on Thursday morning, October 25th for its Obama’s Failing Agenda Gas Rollback Event. This event will draw attention to President Obama’s failing energy policies by reducing the price of gas to $1.84 a gallon*, the cost of gas four years agoright around the time President Obama took office.

“President Obama claims to support an ‘all of the above’ energy strategy, but the sad reality this president has pursued a radical, ideologically-driven ‘green agenda’ that has driven up gas prices to twice as high as they were four years ago,” explained AFP-NJ State Director Steve Lonegan. “Today, it is more difficult for New Jerseyans to fill up their tank and drive to work, get their kids to school, and enjoy their free time.”

“Our event will help New Jerseyans get around this week and remind them of the need for sound energy policies that create jobs and lower our energy prices,” continued Lonegan. “We will educate Americans on the most harmful aspects of President Obama’s big-government agenda, and help put grassroots pressure on politicians to turn away from these destructive policies.”

The event includes educational information and a petition addressed to the President for citizens to fill out.

The Failing Agenda events are an issue advocacy effort by Americans for Prosperity and does not expressly advocate for the success or defeat of any candidate for public office. More information is available at www.FailingAgenda.com
