ObamaCare's Estimated Toll on NJ: 71,000 Lost Jobs By 2024
On Monday the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) released its report on the budget and economic output through 2024. As expected, due to ObamaCare, the nation’s economic outlook is not looking great. In fact, it is just outright terrible.
The CBO estimates there will be up to 2.5 million jobs lost by 2024. That is more than triple the original estimate of 800,000 jobs lost. 6 million fewer people per year will have employment-based insurance. Businesses have been cutting hours, cutting workers, and slowing hiring, due to the burdens already placed on them by ObamaCare.
What does this mean for New Jersey?
Americans for Tax Reform estimates from this report New Jersey will lose over 71,000 jobs.
Adding this onto the recent minimum-wage increase, it is becoming even more difficult for first-time workers, our teenagers, and recent college graduates to get jobs in New Jersey. Many will be forced to move out of New Jersey to more prosperous states; having to leave their families and the place they call home. It’s not fair to keep pushing our future generations out of New Jersey.
This CBO report further proves that ObamaCare is just another on Obama’s ever-growing list of lies and failures.
