Lonegan Testifies Against Proposed Minimum Wage Hike

State director Steve Lonegan testified today before the Senate Budget & Appropriations Committee regarding a proposed minimum wage hike (Bill S2/A2162). The bill would increase New Jersey’s minimum wage more than a dollar to $8.50 an hour and tie future increases to CPI. Steve’s testimony points out how this would hurt the very low-wage workers the bill intends to help.
