ALERT! ObamaCare Hearing In Trenton On 12/5

December 04, 2013

The Senate Commerce Committee is holding a hearing in Trenton this Thursday, December 5 on the ObamaCare train wreck. This hearing is being held under the ruse of finding a way to implement President Obama’s unworkable “fix” in the wake of the disastrous rollout but in reality it’s just a lame attempt to try to pin this disaster on Gov. Christie!

Democrats in Trenton know there’s no way of putting the ObamaCare horse back in the barn. 850,000 New Jerseyans are being kicked off their plans and facing steep premium hikes. And as The Bergen Record reported just last week, insurers won’t be able to implement this last minute, Hail Mary effort to spare thousands of New Jerseyans from ObamaCare’s wrath.

The sad reality is this is just a charade by Democratic senators, led by Commerce Committee Chairwoman Nia Gill (D-34), to bash Gov. Christie for his decision to let the feds run the ObamaCare exchange. Gov Christie’s veto of a state-based exchange saved New Jersey taxpayers tens of millions of dollars and shielded New Jersey employers from ObamaCare’s job-killing tax penalties for not complying with its ridiculous “essential” coverage mandates.

Facts are facts. Gov. Christie is not to blame for the ObamaCare debacle. He’s not to blame for the 850,000 in New Jersey who are losing the coverage they like. He’s not to blame for the tens of thousands being reduced to part-time work or losing their jobs. He’s not to blame for cancer patients losing their coverage, their doctors and access to life-saving treatments.

President Obama and DC Democrats are to blame for this epic failure. And Democrats in Trenton should not be trying to pin that blame where it doesn’t belong.

Join AFP in Trenton this Thursday and let’s send a message that the ObamaCare train wreck can’t be fixed, it needs to be repealed!
