Windham Patch: Lewandowski Testifies In Favor of Education Tax Credit Program

Windham resident and Americans for Prosperity – New Hampshire Director Corey Lewandowski was in Concord on Thursday to testify in favor of an education tax credit program.
Lewandowski is in opposition of HB 370, which would repeal the program as established by the legislature last session.
“This program is about offering more than just scholarships to New Hampshire families. It is about offering them hope,” Lewandowski said. “The House should consider what is in the long-term best interest of this state and New Hampshire families rather than just searching for a short-term revenue source.”
The hearing took place at 12:30 p.m. before the House Ways and Means Committee.
“We oppose HB 370 and strongly support the education tax credit program which would empower parents to make the best possible choice regarding their children’s education,” he said.
