Nashua Patch: Worth Driving to Manchester for $1.84 a Gallon Gas?

October 22, 2012

Deal of the Day: Americans  for Prosperity-NH is rolling back the price of gas to $1.84 a gallon at  Klemm’s Mobile in Manchester from 11:30 a.m to 1 p.m. today.   The $1.84/gallon gas reflects the price of gas four  years ago before President Obama took office and demonstrates how much  President Obama’s failed green agenda is costing NH drivers.

“While gas prices have more than doubled, wages for NH workers have not experienced that sort of increase.  People are hurting every time they stop to fill up their tank,”  said Corey R. Lewandowski, State Director of Americans for  Prosperity-New Hampshire.  “It’s time to look at our energy policies and stop wasting money  on President Obama’s failed green energy programs so that we can boost  domestic energy production and provide much-needed relief at the pump.”

The  $1.84/gallon gas will be limited to the first 150 vehicles with each  car being limited to 15 gallons or 1.5 hours of distribution, whichever  comes  first.

“The bottom line is it is costing people more to get where they need to go,” Lewandowski continued.  “In addition, gas prices get absorbed into anything that needs to  be transported and those increased prices are then passed along to  consumers.”
