Testimony of Tom Pearson regarding Medicaid Expansion

August 30, 2013 J,

Medicaid is a crushing burden in most states, debt is exploding at city, state and federal levels.  Pension costs in many states are unaffordable.

This has to stop!

Our federal government has over $17 trillion in debt.  The federal government borrows 40% of what it spends.

Medicaid expansion supporters say the feds will pay 100% of Medicaid expansion expenses for three years and 90% thereafter.

In view of the federal debt and annual deficits, federal reimbursement is an empty promise.

Further, we are both New Hampshire and U.S. taxpayers; further expenses should be rejected.
