Call to Action – Tell Your House Members to Oppose the 83% Gasoline Tax Increase!

February 25, 2013

On Wednesday the NH House will vote on a proposed 15 cent per gallon gasoline tax increase. That is an increase of 83%! It’s time for the War on Energy Consumers to stop and for our elected officials to find ways to reduce the cost for you to fill up your tank.

Please contact your House members and ask them to oppose HB 617 when it is voted on this Wednesday. You can use THIS LINK to contact them directly.

Despite gasoline prices being at record highs, Representative Campbell, who sponsored HB 617, and other members of the NH House believe that the hard working families in this state are not paying enough at the pump. This move to raise the gas tax 83% demonstrates how wildly out of touch some members of House are with the hard working people of this state and how much they are willing to burden you to increase state revenues and grow government.

We need your help in stopping this 83% gasoline tax increase!

Click here to contact your House Members today and ask them to oppose HB 617.

Thank you for all you to do to advance and protect economic freedom and prosperity in the state.
