Action Alert: Say No to Higher Energy Costs!

April 04, 2012 J

First, I encourage you to reach out to the members of the House Science, Technology and Energy Committee TODAY and ask them to oppose SB 218, which would alter electric renewable portfolio standards.

As we have seen with RGGI, imposing new costs upon energy suppliers only results in increased costs for NH consumers.

There will be a hearing on SB 218 tomorrow at 10:30AM in LOB 304. I urge you to tell the members of the Committee to oppose this piece of legislation before they meet tomorrow morning.

You can CLICK HERE to contact them directly.

Secondly, the Senate Commerce Committee held a hearing on HB 1677, the Right-to-Work bill that passed the House in March. We will continue to keep you informed of the status of this important legislation that will empower NH workers.
