MANCHESTER – Americans for Prosperity – New Hampshire (AFP-NH) will join Young Americans for Liberty and Generation Opportunity in hosting two events over the next week to engage and mobilize college student to grow grassroots efforts against big government programs like ObamaCare. The first of these events will be held in Dover for UNH students at The Brick House for a “Thirsty for Freedom” Thursday happy hour at 7-9 PM. Also, on Tuesday, the groups will host a “Freedom on the Rocks” happy hour at Murphy’s on the Green in Hanover from 8-10 PM.
“College students should know that their future is under attack by policies, like ObamaCare and overspending in Congress, that threaten to undermine their chances to have what adults have today,” said Greg Moore, AFP-NH State Director. “It’s time for them to get mobilized and play a role in shaping the direction of the country. We’re thrilled to be working with groups like Young Americans for Liberty and Generation Opportunity to bring this fight for America’s future to the campuses across New Hampshire.”
“Young Americans for Liberty is very excited to join with Americans for Prosperity and Generation Opportunity, and we look forward to working with them to establish YAL chapters in every college and university in New Hampshire to bring the important message of freedom to the college students in the state,” added Nathaniel Sliffe, State Chair of Young Americans for Liberty.
