Americans for Prosperity to Host “Wrong For New Hampshire” Health Care Picnic and Rally at State House Next Week

July 23, 2013

MANCHESTER – Americans for Prosperity – New Hampshire (AFP-NH) will host a summer picnic and health care rally to demonstrate the flaws of the Affordable Care Act, called ObamaCare, and the impact it will have on New Hampshire residents.  The event will be held on the lawn of the State House on Thursday, August 1st at Noon, and will include discussions about ObamaCare by Greg Moore, AFP-NH State Director as well as other guest speakers.

“By any measure, the implementation of ObamaCare has been a disaster, and New Hampshire residents need to know how this poorly designed and poorly executed law will impact their lives and their health care,” said Moore.  “From cuts in services to higher premiums to doctor shortages to people being dumped from high quality insurance onto a substandard Medicaid program, ObamaCare will impact almost everyone’s health care and access to care.  AFP has been the leading voice in the state against ObamaCare, and we will continue our efforts to ensure that that public knows the consequences of this seriously flawed law.”

AFP-NH will host events through the end of the year, when the bulk of the law is set to take effect, to highlight the flaws in ObamaCare and its results on the various groups who will see their lives and businesses impacted.

“ObamaCare is Wrong for New Hampshire, and AFP will work to ensure that the public is aware of how their lives are going to change for the worst,” added Moore.  “This picnic and rally next week will be a great opportunity to educate the public on the aftermath that will be left of our health care system once ObamaCare goes into effect.  It will be a great chance for people to grasp the enormous impact that this law will have on all aspects of health care in New Hampshire and across the country.”
