Corey R. Lewandowski currently serves as the State Director of Americans for Prosperity and Americans for Prosperity Foundation in New Hampshire. In this capacity, Corey advocates on behalf of the 29,000 plus AFP members to federal, state and local governments. Corey brings over 16 years of experience to his current position having worked at every level of government. Prior to his tenure at AFP, Corey served as Executive Director of the New England Seafood Producers’ Association (NESPA), representing the vast New England seafood interests to state and federal government officials.
Immediately prior to that position, Corey served as a top staff member to Former US Senator Robert C. Smith (R-NH) for two years. Corey ran the Senator’s re-election campaign including developing radio and television advertisements, direct mail, GOTV efforts and overseeing an operating budget of $4.2 million.
Prior to his work for Senator Smith, Corey worked as the Legislative Political Director, Northeast Region, for the Republican National Committee (RNC), as well as in the position of Administrative Assistant and Chief Political Strategist to Congressman Robert Ney (R-OH) in Washington, DC for the 105th, 106th, and 107th Congresses. Before that, Corey served as Executive Assistant, Director of Intern Programs, to Congressman Peter G. Torkildsen (R-MA) for two years.
Corey graduated from the 248th class of the New Hampshire Police Standards and Training Council (PSTC) and served as a certified part-time police officer with the Department of Safety for the State of New Hampshire for four years. He is a licensed real estate agent and notary.
Corey received his M.A in Political Science from American University, Washington, D.C., and his B.A in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts. Corey also attended the Naval War College.
