Telling The Truth Despite the Vicious Lies
Last week, the Americans for Prosperity-Nevada team delivered a letter to all 63 members of the Nevada Legislature. We delivered a simple message for lawmakers to consider when casting their votes on policies that determine the Silver State’s future.
Just like clockwork – the liberal minions took to the cover of social media and did not waste a second to attack AFP-NV’s presence in Carson City.
George Orwell once said, “In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.” Right now, the truth hurts, so the left would rather distract and lie rather than tell the truth.
Here is the reality: Nevada is at or near the bottom of every list in terms of education, housing, and jobs. The left seems to be preoccupied with name-calling and tactics of distraction, attacking our activists as “vultures.” Instead of admitting their tax-and-spend agenda has failed Nevadans, the left resorts to petty name-calling and middle school bullying over social media.
While it is still early in the 77th session, and this will most certainly be the first but not the last time I ask for your help in this fight:
- If you think that record unemployment in Nevada is unacceptable – Like our Facebook page or follow us on Twitter.
- If you believe that our children deserve an education system that focuses on the customer (student) and not the employee (teacher) – forward this page to a friend.
- If you agree that new taxes on business and individuals alike are not the solution – stay tuned because this is just the beginning.
