Kaiser Study: ObamaCare Prices Soar in Rural Nevada
President’s HealthCare law Continues to Harm Our Poorest Residents
LAS VEGAS - Americans for Prosperity – Nevada, the state’s leading opponent to implementing ObamaCare, is highlighting a Kaiser Permanente study which finds that rural Nevada is among the ten regions experiencing the highest health insurance premium increases. The study emerged the same week as the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office reported that the law will reduce full-time employment by the equivalent of 2.3 million jobs.
“ObamaCare proponents keep telling us that the health care law will lower health care costs and create more jobs, yet the actual impact is exactly the reverse,” explained Zachary Moyle, Nevada State Director of Americans for Prosperity. “While President Obama, Senator Reid, and other proponents of the law double down on their broken promises that we can keep our insurance and that health care costs decrease, in reality it’s only getting worse – particularly for rural Nevadans. We appreciate Rep. Joe Heck continuing to fight against ObamaCare and hope the rest of our federal representatives follow suit.”
